Can We Still Save South Africa

Jack Walsh was a successful recreational and commercial fisher with many varied business interests in South Africa’s fishing industry, as well as been a well known and respected lay researcher in the Marine resources field.

He also mentions, when asked what other interests he has, that he has always had considerable interests in the Country’s political environment. It is not therefore surprising to find him writing about such, including this Country’s history and population dynamics.

It has long been his great concern how our current majority rulers, in the guise of the African National Congress, have sought to manufacture that history into a virtual art form that suits their political agenda. From time immemorial, to an ever increasing state today, this has been nearly all ruling governments wont from the greatest, such as the USA, to the smallest island state.

However, in this regard, South Africa’s rulers and their supporting academics have taken the indisputable lead to a point of ridiculous nonsense, now insisting that that is what be taught in all institutions of education.

This book seeks to correct that, though whether many students will listen (many can’t even read!?!) is questionable.

But, as he says, that is no excuse for not trying!
